Nervous gameplay

Will Zenless Zone Zero meet with the same success as its predecessors? Time will tell, but we can already see that the title intends to stand out through its universe. As we know, Zenless Zone Zero immerses players in an urban, futuristic and post-apocalyptic-inspired universe, but rather cheerful and cheerful – whether through its aesthetics or its soundtrack, the game claims inspiration drawn in particular from Shin'ichirō Watanabe, the author of Cowboy Bebop. The world of Zenless Zone Zero is thus invaded by zones of Nethers populated by monsters and humanity has taken refuge in the vast city of New Eridu. Players embody “proxis”, reckless characters who venture into the Nethers to carry out perilous missions, leading them to confront bumps.

The game therefore relies on its atmosphere and a rather light story that is revealed gradually – notably via cutscenes and as we get to know the characters, at the heart of their daily lives in the districts of New Eridu. The game mainly relies on gameplay that is resolutely nervous and dynamic, multiplying the impressive visual effects in the context of fights against bumps imposing. The missions are also spiced up by positive or negative effects that are triggered as you progress.

Unlockable characters

As in previous HoYoverse titles, Zenless Zone Zero takes the form of a gacha gameinvolving summoning characters to compose a team of heroes – during a mission, the player controls his team and plays the characters successively. These characters are also intended to progress, in particular thanks to equipment but also via skills, offensive or defensive, and which allow combos to be chained together.

For those curious and interested in forming a concrete opinion, Zenless Zone Zero is therefore being launched worldwide today – distributed free-to-play, with a client available for download on the official website. To encourage the hesitant, HoYoverse distributes many rewards to the first players, facilitating the first steps in the game and allowing you to try to obtain your first characters.
