Rebel Moon as its director imagined it
Not all of the latest films produced by Netflix have been very well received by viewers and critics. Zack Snyder's films, Rebel Moon 1 & 2 are not lacking and have not reached the quotas hoped for by the streaming platform. With a production cost of $166 million (for the two films), the “Star Wars killer” made in Netflix had to perform very well to be profitable. With a score of 15% from critics and 48% from spectators on Rotten Tomatoesthe second opus was not unanimous. And yet, despite the negative feedback, Netflix announces that a Director's Cut version of the films will be released on August 2.

The two feature films will be entitled to a new name for their final version. The first part, entitled The child of fire will become Chalice of Bloodthe second part was called Curse of Forgiveness. While the films have not achieved the results expected by Netflix, the arrival of this Director's Cut could help achieve this.
A confused public and a compromised sequel
Faced with this announcement, spectators couldn't help but comment. Many then wonder why the feature films of the director of 300 are entitled to the addition of more than an hour of scene via this version? Some believe that Netflix is benefiting from the reputation of Zack Snyder's Director's Cut adaptations, as was the case with that of Justice League. Others explain that the films released on Netflix were cut specifically for the SVOD platform.
