Season theme: What’s inside
In Season 32, the ethereal items from Season 24 will be brought back into the game. These are special weapons that will delight you with their particularly great strength. All weapons are inspired by items from Diablo 2. They have fixed powerful affixes, a random legendary property and a random passive skill. These are the ethereal weapons:
- wizard: Magic Thorn, The Eye, Mang Songs Lesson
- Demon Hunter: Buriza-Do Kyanon, Wind Power, Doombringer
- Crusader: Khalim's Will, Astreon's Iron Protection, The Redeemer
- Barbar: The Grandfather, Deathbringer, Glimmershard
- Witch Doctor: The Gidbinn, Arioc's Needle, Ghost Flame
- monk: Jade Claw, Shadow Slayer, Bartuc's Half-Cutter
- Necromancer: Soul Harvest, Blackbog's Peak, Blackhand Key
Ethereal weapons are dropped by monsters or looted from chests and destructible objects. The rarity lies between ancient and archaic items.
Cosmetics: This is what you can get
Items from Season 8 are returning as cosmetic rewards for the Season Journey. These include a set of portrait frames, boots and pants from the Conqueror set, and Andariel's wings, which are more like her spiky spider legs. Completely new is the Warrior of Teganze portrait frame and a bat companion.

Diablo 3 hasn't had any completely new seasons for some time. Instead, each new season draws on a previously implemented seasonal theme. With Diablo 4, however, the season train is only just getting rolling. The successor to D3 is currently in its fourth season, while Season 5 is already being tested on the PTR.
