When did Van Helsing come to the cinema?

The story actually begins in the early 2000s, more precisely in 2004. After all, that was when Van Helsing came with Hugh Jackman in the lead role. The protagonist of the same name comes from Bram Stoker's Dracula and was to serve as the center of a franchise, including a more or less usable video game.

Comic Book also brings up a TV series from the 2010s that lasted for almost five years. Now the American broadcaster CBS is working on a new series based around the brand. Deadline has already announced some information about the project.

When is the new Van Helsing series coming?

It is unclear when we can expect the CBS series. However, we already know two of the leading personalities, Jonathan Lee and Rob Doherty. Lee is the author behind the upcoming Netflix series Lockerbie, while Doherty was involved in the series Elementary, a TV reinterpretation of Sherlock Holmes.
