UK charts: Elden Ring represented twice

Just in time for the start of the new week, the current software charts from Great Britain reached us. These refer to the sales week from June 24th to 29th, 2024.

As usual, only sales via British retail are taken into account in the charts. Games sold digitally are recorded in separate charts. In the week from June 24 to 29, 2024, Nintendo secured the top spot in the British software charts with another remaster of a popular classic.

We're talking about “Luigi's Mansion 2 HD”. “Luigi's Mansion 2” was developed by Next Level Games and was originally released in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS. The HD remaster, however, is available exclusively for the Switch.

Elden Ring returns to the top 10

One of the big winners last week was FromSoftware’s “Elden Ring”As expected, the role-playing hit benefited from the release of the expansion “Shadow of the Erdtree”. The release of the add-on ensured that the standard version of “Elden Ring” returned to the top 10.

The role-playing game jumped from 15th place to 4th place in the past sales week. The “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Edition” also made it into the top ten best-selling games of the week.

The bundle, which includes “Elden Ring” on a disc and a download code for “Shadow of the Erdtree,” was ranked sixth in the charts last week.

Otherwise, there is not much exciting to report from last week. Once again, the remaining top 10 consists of various old acquaintances from the past weeks. Among them “EA Sports FC 24”the magical open-world adventure “Hogwarts Legacy” or “GTA5”.
