Ubisoft: the roadmap of games planned until 2026 becomes clearer | Xbox

Between Assassin's Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and soon Skull and Bones, Ubisoft has been trying to mark the players' calendar for several months. While we already know some of the publisher's projects to come in the future, we can today learn about a new IP which takes place during the Second World War.

The unofficial roadmap of Ubisoft games

Ubisoft employees have indeed confided to InsiderGaming various information on upcoming games, but also on canceled projects. For example, from late 2021 to early 2022, a dozen Battle Royales were in development. No project managed to captivate players during the playtest phases, so they were all canceled. This is particularly the case with Ghost Recon: Frontline.

Although many games have been canceled, others are obviously in development, and today we learned that Ubisoft is working on an extraction shooter set during World War II, scheduled for release around 2026/2027 . The other projects had already all been talked about, but Insider Gaming today specifies their release periods.

Finally, the media reveals that the release of Star Wars Outlaws will occur during the first half of 2024.

The figures for Ubisoft's latest games

In addition to this great list, Insider Gaming was able to get their hands on the number of players who have touched Ubisoft's latest productions.

Number of players and estimated revenue from the latest Ubisoft games

  • Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown : 300,000 players
  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora : 1.9 million players. $133 million in estimated revenue.
  • Assassin's Creed Mirage: 5 million players. $250 million in estimated revenue.

Note that these are only numbers of players, and not units sold. This therefore includes those who have benefited from these games via Ubisoft+, the publisher's subscription.

The numbers for Prince of Persia and Avatar may seem low, especially when you consider that The Division and The Division 2, two games also developed by Massive Entertainment, generated $330 million and $264 million in their first week, respectively.
