Transformers: Surprise, Activision games reappear on Xbox and Steam stores | Xbox

Dormant for many years on Xbox, Activision's Transformers games could well wake up in the not-so-distant future. If the franchise has had some setbacks in ensuring a lasting life on this medium, it seems that the studio is preparing something special for its return.

Transformers games coming soon to Xbox and Steam?

It's impossible to know what's going on right now, but the machine seems to be well and truly launched. To be convinced, just look at this message written on June 30 by TFHypeGuy on his X account.

Massively shared since that date, the publication shows us that Activision's Transformers games are appearing again on the Xbox store and Steam. However, none of them are available for purchase at the moment, although such a move suggests that this could be the case soon.

The list of visible games :

  • Transformers: War of Cybertron
  • Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
  • Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark
  • Transformers: Devastation

The various games you can see had been removed from the Xbox store several years ago, without Activision providing any explanation. Be careful though, because this assumption obviously requires that we add the usual tweezers, although such a thing would undoubtedly please fans of the license.

For those who want to verify that this image is real, know that several other players have also confirmed the reappearance of Transformers games. On the contrary, others claim that nothing appears on their screen when they start a search with the word Transformers.

This “case by case” phenomenon can easily be explained as it most likely comes from a geographic location issue with your Xbox account or Steam account.

What is Activision really up to? Maybe Hasbro's request has finally been heard in some way? The Xboxygen editorial team will keep you informed as soon as any movement is noted.
