With “Transformers: Galactic Trials”, publisher Outright Games announced a new video game about the popular metal friends. It promises a fast-paced mix of third-person action and an arcade racer.
As publisher Outright Games announced in a recent press release, developers 3DCLouds are currently working on a new “Transformers” adventure for consoles and PC.

The title bears the name “Transformers: Galactic Trials” and, according to official information, will break new ground in terms of gameplay. Those responsible promise an entertaining mix of classic third-person action on the one hand and an arcade racer on the other.
In the role of various well-known Autobots or Decepticons such as Bumblebee, Megatron, Elita-1 and Optimus Prime, you go in search of the Prime relics that the cunning Nemesis Prime stole.
What is on offer in terms of gameplay?
According to the developers, in “Transformers: Galactic Trials” you race over varied tracks to collect relics and defeat enemies.
The gameplay includes both traditional arcade racing in vehicle form and dynamic combat in bot form, as you are constantly faced with the task of defeating opponents and making it to the finish line.

You progress in the game by collecting the relics mentioned above. With the relics, you can unlock new skills that improve your character.
At the same time, you can use the relics to improve existing skills and unlock cosmetic content such as additional skins.
These game modes are waiting for you
Today's announcement also reveals that Transformers: Galactic Trials offers two game modes. The developers say: “Play Galactic Trials to progress through levels and collect relics in single player mode. In Arcade mode, you can grab a friend and take part in a quick race in two-player local multiplayer.”
“Create a custom experience with your track, character and weapons, or take part in location-based special tournaments.”
“Transformers: Galactic Trials” will be released on October 11, 2024. It will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Switch.
