This cosplay of Ciri from The Witcher makes Henry Cavill want it back

The news that Henry Cavill will leave The Witcher Netflix serieswas a big shock for everyone involved. First pictures show how different the fourth and perhaps final season will look. On the video game front, the developers at CD Projekt Red are continuing to work on The Witcher 4.

The popular video game series is very popular around the world, so it's not surprising that some fans still create cosplays based on it, like in this case Ciri.

The user strychnine tea shared a picture of her cosplay of Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, Ciri's full name, on Reddit. In the photos, the young woman poses in tall grass, in the forest and on the edge of a cliff. The outfit she is wearing is clearly based on The Witcher 3: a white linen top, leather gloves and tight leather pants.

But she also paid attention to small details, for example the decorated belt looks very similar to the original from the game. But details like the right hairstyle, the scar above the left eye or the witcher medallion on the belt were also important to her.

The highlight of the cosplay, however, is the carefully recreated 1:1 replica of Ciri's silver sword, which she majestically presents. But what exactly is next for the Witcher series?

When will The Witcher 4 be released?

Of course, the studio is currently working hard on The Witcher 4 . At the moment, there are mainly rumors surrounding the role-playing game. What is certain is that it is the beginning of a new trilogy, the makers want to switch to the Unreal Engine 5 and a release before 2025 is considered more than unlikely. Before that, the spin-off Witcher Sirius will probably be released, which is being developed outside the company and wants to go its own way.
