The developers took their time with the Elden Ring DLC
In February 2023, exactly one year after the release of Elden Ring, the makers announced the expansion Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earthtree This was launched on June 21, 2024, more than a year after the announcement.

The makers of Elden Ring have now updated the sales figures and revealed that the new DLC has sold a whopping five million copies. Considering the expansion costs just under 40 euros, that's a pretty good average.

What is really impressive, however, is the fact that these five million DLC sales were achieved after just three days. It can therefore be assumed that the sales figures for the Elden Ring DLC will increase in the coming days, weeks and even months. increase again.
