The American actor and comedian Paul Reiser (Aliens, Stranger Things), returns for the fifth and final season of The Boys. In season 3 of the Amazon series, he played a former “Senior Vice President of Hero Management” at Vought America and helped Hughie, Butcher and MM track down Soldier Boy.

In the Interview with ComicBook.com Reiser reveals his involvement in season 5. The actor explains: “Yes, there have been talks about it. I think there is something they are writing for me.”
According to reports, the series' writers are in the process of giving his character, The Legend, a reappearance in The Boys.
Who was the legend again?
Reiser's character was the Predecessor of Madelyn Stillwell (Elisabeth Shue), both of whom made sure that the Supes' many misdeeds were swept under the rug.

In season 3, the character appears in episodes 5 and 7. He puts the boys on the trail of Soldier Boy by revealing to them that the Supe is looking for his former partner Crimson Countess to take revenge for her betrayal.

»This is not my kind of series«
The actor also explains in the interview that the series is not really his taste. When he was offered the role, he had never heard of The Boys.
Unlike his son, who works as a writer on the Alien comics and explained to him “the series is great, but you're going to hate it.” Nevertheless, Reiser gave The Boys a chance.
In fact, he found the series to be “really over the top,” but he also recognized that this was not an end in itself. The series was explicit, but also “funny and intelligent.”
In the end, the role completely convinced. And also the fact that he can bear the name “The Legend”.
