The UnlockSwitch team continues to communicate, and it does it rather well, after having published photos of its linker, first in its black PCB version, then with a purple PCB, it now reveals a little more information about its future via a rather long post on the Twitter network, recently renamed X.
In this post we learn quite a bit, such as the volume that will be produced, at least 10 to 20,000 pieces reserved precisely for the Twitter community.

As announced yesterday, we have presented the final version of UnlockSwitch PBS (V5R1) – UnlockSwitch PBS (Black Edition) – UnlockSwitch PBS (Purple Edition).
We originally went with a black PCB, but the community asked for a purple version, so we produced it! We're keeping the launch price at $29.90.
We have already produced samples for our beta testers, which will be shipped starting Monday. We are looking forward to their feedback! We are particularly interested in their positive or negative opinions about our solution, and most importantly, in demo videos of the UnlockSwitch in action! We are counting on you guys!!!
In the meantime, we will launch mass production of 10,000-20,000 units exclusively for our Twitter community, with the exact quantity still to be determined. We will soon hold a vote to estimate orders and the desired quantity. There will be no pre-orders, UnlockSwitch will only be available for sale when stock is ready, while it lasts.

After this production, the UnlockSwitch will no longer be sold alone but as a kit with the Xtractor. We want to sell UnlockSwitch as a complete personal backup solution. Of course, the Xtractor will also be sold separately later. Next week we will publish the number of units to be produced. We will also share manufacturing videos with you. The team intends to market this first batch at $29.90, without the game extractor (called Xtractor), this will allow this first production to be sold, then only an UnlockSwitch + Xtractor version will be marketed, but we do not yet know the price. Next week, the team will reveal the price of the extractor which will be sold alone, moreover at the level of the sale, it will take place via the website via UnlockSwitch.com and only via the website directly, no reseller or Aliexpress. Regarding the flash and the extractor, the team explains that it will publish information on the software, as well as the source code, the solution claiming to be open-source.
