Steam is giving one of the most popular games from last year a new low price: The wizard RPG Hogwarts Legacy is now reduced by a whopping 60 percent. Accio, bargain!
There was almost no other topic of conversation in the community around the release of Hogwarts Legacy on February 7, 2023. As a result, things became a little quieter around the fantasy RPG from the Harry Potter universe. But now it is available on Steam as cheap as never before and is back in the bestseller charts.

In Hogwarts Legacy, you take on the role of a fifth-grader in the 19th century who is starting his first year at the famous wizarding school. Of course, this is not a normal school year, but an adventure involving a goblin rebellion and dark magicians who are putting the wizarding world in danger. As you find out more about the threat, you can explore Hogwarts and its surroundingsdiscover secrets, learn magic spells and meet interesting characters. You can also dress, customize and level up your character as you wish.

On Steam, the Harry Potter RPG has a very positive rating after more than 192,000 votes. You can currently Hogwarts Legacy 60 percent cheaper on the platform than usual – until July 11, 2024, the wizard adventure costs only 23.99 euros instead of 59.99 euros (view on Steam).
Steam Charts: RPG hit conjures its way into the bestsellers
With the 60 percent discount, Hogwarts Legacy returns to the Steam bestsellers after some time and grabs 9th place. Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring and Cyberpunk 2077 However, some other huge RPGs land a little higher up the list. However, the Harry Potter role-playing game at least relegates open-world competitors like The Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2 to the lower places.
