Almost ten years in development, Bethesda wanted to revolutionize the highly frequented RPG genre with Starfield last year. The title was not just supposed to be “Fallout in space”, but to offer a huge scope (1,000 explorable planets), a lot of freedom of choice, action-packed battles, modifiable spaceships and base building. But ultimately, opinions on the release on September 6, 2023 were very divided. Starfield was largely praised in the press, including in the PCG-Test awarded the space role-playing game 9/10 a high rating. However, many players criticized the game's performance, procedural design and empty worlds.
In the meantime, Bethesda has improved the game a lot with a number of updates (as was the case with Fallout 76) and recently released the new expansion Starfield – Shattered Space. So it's a good thing that Starfield (buy now 54,21 € / 62,99 € ) can now be purchased more cheaply than ever before.

Starfield now only 15.99 euros for PC and Xbox Series X
When it was released in September 2023, the physical version of Starfield cost 69.99 euros (PC) or 79.99 euros (Xbox Series X). Although you now get the better game thanks to several updates, you only pay a fraction of that, at least at Media Markt. The retailer is offering the RPG cheaper than ever before and is outperforming all of its competitors. The game costs just 15.99 euros and Media Markt even offers free shipping.

Not only Starfield is Media Markt on sale, but also other games for PC and Xbox Series X. The first-person shooter Redfall, released a year ago, costs just 5.99 euros and the racing game Need for Speed Unbound is available for both systems for under 20 euros. Dead Space, Assassin's Creed Mirage and The Crew Motorfest are other titles from 2023 that can now be purchased much cheaper.
