Fans of “Sonic X Shadow Generations” can apparently prepare themselves for a big surprise. A teaser from Sega is making people sit up and take notice.

Until the release of “Sonic X Shadow Generations” There are still a few months to go. But the new edition is already causing quite a stir. The trigger for this is an update to the official website that is currently causing some eyebrows. What exactly is Sega trying to imply with this?
What Sonic surprise is Sega currently planning?
Who these days the official website of “Sonic X Shadow Generations” a visit, you will probably have already noticed a change in a certain area. This is where the playable characters of the new edition can be found.
Three of them are known so far: In addition to Sonic, fans will soon be able to take on the roles of Classic Sonic and Shadow. But a fourth slot has recently opened up alongside Shadow – with no content as yet, but with the note “coming soon…”.
With this hint, Sega seems to confirm another and thus fourth playable character for “Sonic X Shadow Generations”. There are no concrete details about this yet, but at least there is a basis for speculation. Both the positioning of the new slot and the basic design indicate that Sega will soon present a completely new variant of Shadow. Fans should therefore keep a close eye on this section of the official website.
When will Sonic X Shadow Generations be released?
Sega still has plenty of time to announce further details about “Sonic X Shadow Generations”. The game is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2024 on PC and consoles – including the PS5 and PS4.
