Soon, PC gamers will finally be able to discover the continuation of the adventures of Kratos and Atreus thanks to the arrival of God of War Ragnarok on their machines! The port scheduled for September 19 has fans of the license waiting for them. But before that, a little surprise awaits them. PlayStation fans will soon be able to bring their favorite heroes home with a new collection of The Shapes Collection figurines. Sony Interactive Entertainment is teaming up with Spin Master, a company specializing in the field of toys, to launch a brand new range of collectible figurines inspired by the iconic characters of PlayStation studios. It stars some iconic characters like Aloy from Horizon: Forbidden West, Kratos and Atreus from God of War Ragnarök, and Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima. These figurines, whose appearance we will let you judge in the comments, are 15 cm high and have several points of articulation (ranging from 24 to 42 depending on the figurine) and interchangeable accessories.

The first figurine available for pre-order now on PlayStation Gear (subject to availability) and Amazon in the US and Australia is the deluxe version of Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West. This collectible figure features 42 points of articulation and 12 different accessories, including multiple alternate faces and hands.

One of our highlights was the ability to give Aloy different facial expressions, which, along with the many points of articulation (even her hair has some!), makes her a very poseable figure. Additionally, the technique used to apply the color to the faces allowed us to maintain the resemblance to the real models, which was very important and adds a lot to the appeal of these figures.

Noticeable absences

More figures will be available for pre-order starting July 15, again on PlayStation Gear (subject to availability) and Amazon in the US and Australia, with shipping scheduled for September. Expect Kratos and Atreus from God of War Ragnarök, Varl from Horizon Forbidden West, and Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima. You may also have noticed the absence of iconic characters like Nathan Drake and Ellie; one can easily imagine that they will be offered later if the success is there. Many would also have appreciated the presence of Astro Bot, the console's iconic hero who will soon be featured in a new adventure on PS5. Maybe it will be for later.
