The Final Fantasy VII phenomenon

A little over 27 years ago, the original version of Final Fantasy VII was released worldwide, eventually becoming one of the most popular games in the series developed by Square Enix even today. Since then, the universe of this opus has been declined through numerous games, whether on consoles with Dirge of Cerberus And Crisis Core or on mobile devices with Ever Crisisbut also in the form of films, such as the incredible Final Fantasy VII Advent Children which still holds up quite well today.

But what players were really asking for was a remake with more modern 3D modeling. A wish that was granted in 2020 with Final Fantasy VII RemakeThen Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in early 2024. But know that in addition to these titles and the HD remasters offered by members of the community, there is an extremely faithful remake of the original game, and it is to a very determined fan that we owe it…

Final Fantasy VII like you've never seen it before

This remake was created by Jamie Colliverwhich made use of the level creation features offered by LittleBigPlanet 2the second part of the license of Media Moleculeto create a platform version of the Square Enix game. Colliver had already made headlines 12 years ago when he began documenting his work on his YouTube channel, known at the time as TheJamster1992and since renowned LittleBigWorld. On his channel, Colliver propose a playlist of 140 videos tracing the different levels of Final Fantasy VII Perfectly.
