If you're not yet too familiar with the Black Castle in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the seed warehouse can be a real maze. That is why we explain below the path that will allow you to reach the grace site “Black Castle, Back Gate”, the one that will be useful to you to either meet Commander Gaius, or visit the Hidden Panorama of the Hinterland.

To reach the back door of the Black Castle, take the grace site “Entrance to the religious district” as your starting point. Once you arrive in the religious areas, there is a good chance that there will still be water; so, avoid falling into the water and jump skillfully until you reach the roof located right in front of you.

Afterwards, jump onto the exterior arch of the partially submerged church, then reach the roof of the church. Then drop onto one of the interior stone vaults, then try to land somewhere safe. Join the circular corridor, then take the exit that leads to an isolated tower. Take the stone elevator; you will arrive in a part of the seed warehouse that has not yet been visited.

Afterwards, all you have to do is take the stairs which will be on your left to come across the ladder allowing you to reach one of the last floors of the warehouse. You will not yet have reached the end of your efforts, because you will have to climb the stairs which will also be on your left, to reach an opening which is to the south-east, just behind the libraries.

Continue your climb from outside the castle until you come across a grace site and a weight elevator. Take it and you will finally have arrived in the attic; except that your journey does not end here!

From the attic, your mission will then be to reach the beams located to the north to then reach the path allowing you to reach the elevator allowing access to the back door of the Black Castle.

To get there, take the ladder that will be just in front, on the left, then drop onto the wooden cog. Join the lower beams, then take the ladder that goes down to the north (or drop onto the mezzanine, it's faster). You will then have arrived at the floor allowing you to reach the elevator which will guide you directly to the back door.

Exit the castle, take the weight elevator on the right, go down the exterior scaffolding and you will finally arrive at the elevator leading to the back door of the Black Castle. Just in front, you will then come across Commander Gaius and on the right, you will have the statue of Marika which will allow you to reach the Village of Shamans of the Occult Panorama of the Occult Altus.

To reveal the access leading to the Occult Panorama, all you need to do is use the “O Mother” emote in front of Marika's statue, but we'll guide you to it below!

O Mother… Where to find this emote in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree?

The “Oh Mother” emote is hidden in Bonny Village. You can reach this village by entering the cavity available from the Ruins of Moorth. By continuing your ascent within these underground ruins, you will be able to reach the entrance to said village.

Once in Bonny Village, all you have to do is head north to come across a sort of morbid altar. At the foot of the corpse, you will find the famous emote which will allow you to open the door leading to the Occult Panorama.

As for the Shaman Village, all you have to do is climb the cliff that will be directly in front of you when you exit the Black Castle. There, you will be able to find the Minor World Tree incantation, a support spell, as well as the Golden Braid, a talisman to improve resistance to holy damage. In addition, from the Shamans Village, you can reach the secret floor of the Rabbath Tower to modify Jolan's summoning ashes into Jolan and Anna's summoning ashes.
