The “Diamond City Blues” quest is a very special quest in Fallout 4. Indeed, your choices will have big consequences. You have no less than 5 possible endings, involving Marowski and other NPCs. In this article, we detail what you need to do for each.

The Marowski affair
For this first ending, you must ensure that Trish survives during the quest “Diamond City Blues”. A day after completing this quest, you will hear rumors that Marowski awaits you at the Rexford Hotel. Meet on site.
He then tells you that he knows your role in stealing his drugs and asks you for 2000 caps to wipe your slate clean. Be aware that this sum can be reduced to 1000 caps by persuading him, but you will have to pay. If you don't, his men will attack you regularly.
The Latimer situation
The second possible ending to this Fallout 4 quest is when you decide to kill Nelson Latimer. Wait again 24 hours after the end of the quest and go visit Malcolm Latimer who is located at the brewery level of the stands. He then reveals to you that he knows you killed Nelson.
You then have several options. The first is to confess and use your persuasion to get him to forgive you. But if you're looking for the rewards, the most interesting option is to blame someone elseeither Marowski or Paul Pembroke.
This requires persuading him, which is far from easy. But if you succeed, he will ask you to assassinate the culprit you have designated. Do this and return to him to collect the 600 caps reward.as well as 177 exp points.
The Darcy affair
For this ending, you need to make sure Paul is dead during the “Diamond City Blues” quest. Additionally, you will need to be courteous to Darcy by buying him a round at the start of the quest for example. Three days after the quest ends, she will ask you for help.
She is worried about her husband, as well as Cooke who has disappeared. You will then have to tell her that it was Henry who killed Paul and leave. The Colette affair
The final ending of the “Diamond City Blues” quest is a bit special. You will simply have to finish the quest and this time wait not 24 hours, but a full week. Then go meet Colette at the terrace of the Diamond City inn. She will reveal to you that she is looking for her father Henry Cooke.
There, several scenarios will take place, depending on how the robbery happened. Below is a summary of each situation:
- Cooke has left the Commonwealth: You cannot give information to Colette who is leaving.
- Cooke and Paul are dead: You can either bullshit her twice a week apart or tell her the truth by choosing “Adultery” to explain your action.
- Cooke is dead, Paul is alive: Lie to Colette and then talk to Paul 24 hours later. You can then attack Colette for Paul or let him do it.
- You took all the loot from the heist: Paul accuses you of Cooke's death to Colette. Then convince her to leave town by lying or attacking her.
