An expected reveal

Nintendo has finally revealed the first images of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Samus Aran is finally due to return with a new 3D opus in 2025, two years after the release of Metroid Prime Remastered which had already given us good hope of finding our heroine.

For the moment, Nintendo has not yet revealed a release platform, but the game could stand out as the final major software to be released on Switch while the hybrid console should say goodbye by next year , the best. But for a Switch game, we have to admit that Metroid Prime 4 seems rather promising in its technical aspect and ready to fight on equal terms with other big names of the genre. But beyond the technique, it is also through its gameplay and its artistic direction that the game forces comparison with its peers. VGC recently took an interest in the development of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and revealed the names of the developers attached to the project. And we discover without much surprise that the software is in fact led by a real dream team composed of veterans who have worked on major games. If there are first of all developers associated with Metroid Prime since the beginning of the spin-off, many members of the Retro Studios team worked on Halo during the 343 Industries era. But that's not all.

We thus find Battlefield, Call of Duty, Tomb Raider, Mass Effect or even Donkeyu Kong Country… so many games that come back insistently on the CVs of the developers responsible for bringing Metroid Prime 4 to fruition. Given the scale of these previous software, we can only deduce that this new chapter of Metroid Prime is placed in very good hands. Answer next year.
