Starfield recently welcomed a huge new feature that revolutionizes an entire part of Bethesda's massive RPG while awaiting its first DLC scheduled for later this year.
Slowly but surely, Starfield is being refined, either through official patches from Bethesda that the RPG really needs, but also thanks to the community. It is precisely a recent creation of the latter that interests us here.

Finance, Starfield's new friend?
In its basic proposition, Starfield has no shortage of stories and activities to undertake in its vast galaxy. A modder by the name of 0xDezzy, however, has found a way to significantly improve a relatively little-discussed part of Bethesda's latest and massive RPG: its financial system. Simply and cleverly named StarFinancethis mod brings enormous depth to this area.
Still in an early stage, it currently offers to manage its credits via a banking system. This management can take the form of investments, loans or even property rentals. A rather interesting way to reinforce immersion in this vast galaxy where the financial opportunities are as numerous as the planets to explore, in short. It's also an interesting way for those attracted to this mod to wait for Shattered Space, the first DLC coming to Starfield. This should arrive later in the year on PC, Xbox Series and Xbox Game Pass, without further details. At most we know that it will approach an almost mystical atmosphere by fleshing out the story of the mysterious House Va'ruun.
Bethesda intends to continue to expand Starfield over time, with a roadmap of releasing a new DLC every year. For its part, StarFinance also plans to expand. 0xDezzy notably indicated on the NexusMods page of his creation that a stock market system is planned, as well as a system of loan sharks coming to track you down to the other side of the galaxy to make sure that you have paid your debts. Something that our character could also do in a quest offered in New Atlantis.
How to get started in StarFinance
To take advantage of Starfield's StarFinance mod, the procedure is relatively simple. Once it is installed in the game's Data folder or via a Mod Manager, you will need to go to the GalBank Tower, in New Atlantis. You will then need to interact with a data terminal there, and open an account, for a minimum of 1,000 credits. You will then receive an object allowing you to activate this terminal remotely. Thus will begin your financial adventure in the galaxy imagined by Bethesda.
