The Mystery Gifts of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple

Since November 2022, Pokémon Scarlet and Purple regularly offers distributions of items and Pokémon to reward trainers from around the world. Moreover, the items in question can sometimes be rareand above all very useful for gameplay, like CTsof the Special Poké Ballsand even Secret Spices. Also note that several Pokémon (belonging or not to Paldea Pokédex) have been shared by codes since the launch of the last title of Game Freakand all players can obtain them through the function Mystery Gift Game.

As a reminder, you can use this interface as long as you have a stable internet connection. No subscription is required, you simply need to have a free Nintendo account associated with your console. The only problem with distributions of this type is their expiry dateas is the case with the code to obtain Darkrai which will be disabled shortly before the holidays, so hurry up and claim codes still valid in December 2023 ! Pokémon Scarlet/Purple walkthrough summary

Like most other Game Freak games, Pokémon Scarlet/Purple Mystery Gifts take the form of codes of up to 16 characters, like the ones you can grab in the Nintendo eShop. However, these must have come directly into playand although this maneuver requires an Internet connection, a subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service is not necessary. However, your console must be associated with a Nintendo Account to receive distributions. Please note that some Mystery Gifts do not require a code to be claimed, but this is not the case today. Here’s how to proceed if you’ve never claimed a Mystery Gift before:

• Launch your game and go to the Menu (button X).
• Select tab Poké Portal.
• Choose the option Mystery Gifts.
• Select Via a code or password.
• Enter the coded concerned (see list below).
• …and collect your reward!

What are the rewards to obtain in 2023?

As explained above, the codes of Mystery Gifts have a limited duration of use, and some of them will soon to expirewe have therefore decided to provide you with a small list of codes still active this year. Without further ado, discover the different Pokémon Scarlet/Purple Mystery Gifts valid in December 2023 :

Darkrai (Mythical Pokémon)

All players can get a Darkrai of level 50 through the Mystery Gift function by entering the following code:

This Pokémon will be available until December 21, 2023 at 12:59 a.m. (local time)so hurry up and claim it if you haven’t already!

Chromatic Lucario

All players can get a Chromatic Lucario of level 75 through the Mystery Gift function by entering the following code:

This Pokémon will be available until January 4, 2024 at 12:59 a.m. (local time).

Zoroark of Hisui

All players who purchased The buried treasure of Zone Zero: the Turquoise Mask before October 31, 2023 can get a Zoroark of Hisui of level 50 through the Mystery Gift function by entering the code communicated to them by email.

This code will be valid until February 29, 2024 at 4:59 p.m. (local time).

Balbalèze

All players can get a Balbalèze of level 50 through the Mystery Gift function by entering the following code:

This Pokémon will be available until August 31, 2024 at 4:59 p.m. (local time).

Strong or Sweet Spice

All players will be able to randomly obtain 1 Full-bodied Spice Or 1 Sweet Spice through the Mystery Gift function by entering the following code:

This item will be available until September 30, 2024 at 4:59 p.m. (local time).

Vrombotor

All players can get a Vrombotor of level 50 through the Mystery Gift function by entering the following code:

This Pokémon will be available until October 31, 2024 at 3:59 p.m. (local time).
