Playing with Friends in MultiVersus: Crossplay and Split-Screen Guide

Do you play MultiVersus on the PC, but all your friends only have one PlayStation? No problem: MultiVersus allows crossplay! If you want to play the game with your friends, you can look forward to crossplay! Split screen is also possible for local gaming on one medium. The game is available on PlayStation 4 and 5, PC (EpicGame Store and Steam) and Xbox Series X/S and One. Crossplay is fully possible. In addition, your progress is saved across platforms. All you need is your account with Warner Bros. Games. In order to use crossplay, it should of course be activated. By default, however, crossplay is always switched on. If it isn't for you, you can do this under Settings, then under “Online/Legal”. Under “Crossplay” you have three options: “Activated”, “Disabled” or “Console only”. Select the setting you want and save it. This is what the crossplay settings look like. Playing locally and online with friends Now it's just a matter of connecting with your friends to play. To do this, first click on Game Mode on your home screen. Under Game Mode you will find further settings. Then select the mode you want to play in: 1 against 1 or 2 against 2. 1v1 or would you rather have 2v2? Further to the right you can choose between “Training”, “Local” and “Custom Game”. If you only have one platform on which you want to play locally with friends, select “Local”. If you want to play online with your friends, click on “Custom Game”. Choose between “Training,” “Local,” or “Custom Game.” A lobby will open where you can select all the possible settings for your match. If you want to invite a friend, you have to click on “+ Player” and search for the friend's name. Add them, adjust your settings – if you haven't already done so – and then get into battle! In the lobby you can adjust all your settings for the game.
