July is almost here and of course it brings with it some new PS4 and PS5 games. As usual, we'll tell you in our little monthly overview which games you can look forward to in the next few weeks.
July is just around the corner and with it all sorts of new releases for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. As always, in the following lines we will introduce you to some potential highlights that you can look forward to in a little more detail.

The First Descendant (PS4, PS5)
Release: July 2, 2024
100 years ago, the Vulgus invaded our dimension and left a trail of destruction in their wake. They destroyed various castles and kidnapped numerous people to conduct experiments on them. As if that wasn't bad enough, the so-called Colossi also appeared later, razing everything in their path to the ground. Now the time has come to strike back. Can you win the final battle?
“The First Descendant” is a new co-op shooter that will be released at the beginning of July and will be based on a free-to-play model. At launch, you will have a total of 14 characters to choose from with which you can throw yourself into fast-paced battles. Thanks to different skills, the characters are clearly distinguishable from one another and the progression system is designed to encourage you to keep playing so that you can stomp all enemies, small enemies and big bosses, into the ground.
Zenless Zone Zero (PS5)

Civilization as we know it has been changed forever by so-called “caves.” These are spatial anomalies in which numerous dangerous monsters and other dangers lurk. Only New Eridu, the last metropolis of humanity, resists the impending doom. In the role of a proxy, a person who specializes in exploring the caves, you join the resistance.
HoYoverse (“Genshin Impact”, “Honkai: Star Rail”) are back with their new action RPG “Zenless Zone Zero”. With a pretty art style and atmospheric background music, the creators want to take you into a lively game world. Not only unique characters and gripping action await you, but of course also numerous thrilling adventures. What stories will you experience?
Nobody Wants to Die (PS5)

In the year 2329, technology has advanced so much that people can live forever. Their consciousness is stored in special databases and transferred to a new body. Well, at least if the person can afford it. In the role of Detective James Karra, you and your partner Sara Kai must investigate an unofficial case and uncover a dark mystery.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (PS4, PS5)
Release: July 18, 2024
As Nor Vanek, an elite member of the coalition army, you declare war on the gods. Your fox-like companion Enki is always at your side. During their journey together, not only will Enki's knowledge prove to be extremely useful, but both will also become stronger over time. You must use everything in your power to somehow prevent the impending end of the world and stop the gods.
With “Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn” you can expect a new Soulslike adventure that will captivate you not only with its exciting world but also with its complex combat system. In the challenging battles you must combine close combat with your firearms and your magical abilities in order to ultimately emerge victorious, whether on the ground or in the air.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (PS4, PS5)
Release: July 19, 2024
One day you find yourself on a mountain that is infested with something called Desecration. While you cleanse the village during the day and prepare for sunset, at night you must protect the maiden from dangerous monsters. You must go through this cycle again and again to finally defeat the damned.
Capcom is launching an action strategy game called “Kanitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” that is heavily inspired by Japan and the mythology of the island nation. You don't have to face the enemies all alone, because you can assign roles to the villagers so that they can support you in battle. You have to use your own skills and resources wisely to save the village.
