With the original release for the GameCube, Metroid Prime established itself as one of the absolute gaming highlights from Nintendo – with a Metacritic score of 97, it is almost a perfect game. The remaster for the Switch has nothing to hide and can follow on from its fantastic predecessor with a rating of 94. With the 30 percent discount, Samus can fight her way back into the Switch charts – Metroid Prime Remastered is currently ranked 17th. EA Sports FC 24 has been at the top for some time, while Luigi's Mansion 2 HD and Sid Meier's Civilization 6 also make it onto the podium.
