Microsoft Edge 124 (124.0.2438.2) has landed in the Dev channel

The Edge in the Dev channel has made a jump to version 124. More precisely, 124.0.2438.2. This information about new functions is definitely important when the 124 appears in beta at the end of March or in the stable channel around April 18th, 2024. Because there is only a link to the dev versions.

In this first release in the Dev channel, only one new feature was added. Because here the Adobe Viewer (PDF) has received new functions. Which one is not described exactly. So we can start searching and explore the PDF function. Further changes are (selection):

  • Fixed an issue where clicking the “+” button for custom applications in the browser sidebar caused the sidebar to disappear.
  • Mac: Fixed an issue that caused the screen reader to not display the status of tab groups on Mac/Linux when they were expanded or collapsed.
