A trailer for “My Hero Academia: You're Next”, the fourth anime film in the popular superhero franchise, was recently released. The new video provides fresh insights into the new adventure of Izuku and his friends.
For several years now, the superhero story has been enjoying “My Hero Academia” very popular among anime and manga fans. After the franchise has already produced an anime series, several video games and three anime movies, “You’re Next” The fourth film is now in the starting blocks.

A few days ago, the makers unveiled the official Main trailer to “My Hero Academia – The Movie: You're Next”, which gives a small insight into the story. In the new anime film, the abilities of Izuku & Co. are put to the test once again: After a huge war, our heroes meet a mysterious man who looks like All Might!
Fans of the anime hit can of course look forward to seeing their favorites again in “You're Next”. In addition to our protagonist Izuku/Deku, his friends Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki as well as Hawks and All Might are also back.
In addition, there are also some new characters in the upcoming anime film. “My Hero Academia” fans will be particularly excited about the appearance of Dark Might, who looks like a sinister doppelganger of All Might. Also new are villains Giulio Gandini and a young woman named Anna Scervino.

Like the anime series and the three previous films, “My Hero Academia: You're Next” is being produced by Studio Bones (“Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”). Unlike the three previous films, the director this time is Tensai Okamura (“Naruto the Movie: The Unofficial Adventures of Naruto”).
The screenplay was written by Yōsuke Kuroda (“Goblin Slayer”). The character designs are by Yoshihiko Umakoshi (“Berserk”), while Yuki Hayashi (“Haikyu!!”) is composing the music. The film’s theme song, “Homonculus,” is by Japanese musician Vaundy.

“My Hero Academia – The Movie: You're Next” will be released in Japanese cinemas on August 2, 2024. The superhero adventure will celebrate its world premiere at the Anime Expo 2024 on July 6, 2024. It is currently unknown when the anime film might find its way to Germany.
