In Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, there is a Boo hidden in every normal level. To find them, you usually have to reveal a certain invisible object with the Dark Lamp. If you find all the Boos in a mansion, you unlock a bonus level – so it's worth it. In this guide, you'll find out all the locations.
All Buu Huus in the Horror Villa
A notice: You can only discover the Buu Huus in A-1, A-2 and A-3 after completing A-4, because that's where you get the Dark Lamp.

A-1 Schreckweg 09/15: Go to the left of the main entrance into the garage (ground floor) and look for a hidden wheel north of the door.
A-2 Gear Hunt: To the right of the main entrance, enter the garden entrance (ground floor). In this room, you have to look for a small table on the southern wall with the dark lamp.
A-3 Book Ghosts: Go into the study (E1). There, in the middle of the room, pull the sheet off the hidden easel and shine the dark lamp on it.
A-4 Fraud and deception: Reveal the large dining table in the dining room (E1). You will inevitably suck up this Boo, as it is the main objective of this mission.
A-5 Midnight cleaning: Use the dark lamp to illuminate the hidden wing in the library (ground floor).
All Boo Huus in the Ivy Towers
B-1 Plumbing: At the beginning of the level you have to go to the water generator (ground floor). There you will find the Boo when you reveal the tool cart to the right of the generator.
B-2 The wind turbine gate: When you explore the gardener's laboratory (U1), you have to take a detour into the canal. Suck up the red plant hanging from the ceiling and the Boo will appear.
B-3 Cemetery Walk: In the Mausoleum (ground floor) you have to illuminate the hidden vase to the right of the Toad painting.
B-4 Pool Party: In the living room (E2), reveal the painting on the northern wall. Since it is hanging crooked, you have to straighten it with the X button so that the Boo appears.
B-5 Pointed, tear out: Reveals all hidden tools and tool tables in the workshop (ground floor).
All Buu Huus in the engineering yard
C-1 Time to use: In the warehouse (ground floor) you have to grab the red package on the far right and then put it in the machine next to the entrance door. Then suck up the red ribbon on the package and pull it off so that Boo appears.
C-2 Luigi underground: In the quarry, after the sand has covered everything, you have to illuminate the hidden wooden bridge on the northern wall.
C-3 Loading bay polishing: In the boiler room (ground floor) you have to make the right valve appear with the dark lamp and then close both valves. Then suck in the steam so that you can open the door with the strobe light. After you have defeated the two greenies, the Boo appears. Since you have to do this during this mission, you can't miss the Boo.
C-4 Find the stick!: At the clock tower gate (ground floor) you have to search the ceiling to the right of the gate with the dark lamp for a hidden hanging lamp.
C-5 The piece of happiness: At the main gear (U1) there is a secret corner on the left side south behind the large gear. Look here for an invisible box in which the Boo is hiding.
All Buu Huus in the snow mine
D-1 Icy debut: At the cable car station (U1) you will find an invisible barrel to the right of the door to the prospecting chamber, in which the Boo Huo is hiding.
D-2 In the deepest cold: In the mountain hut (ground floor) you have to reveal the hidden rocking chair next to the fireplace.
D-3 Over the Abyss: In the deep storage area (U3) you have to blow the cauldron over the campfire on the right side. After a few seconds the Boo will storm out of the cauldron.

All Boo Huus in the Castle of Illusion
E-1 The front door key: In the maze catacombs (U2) you will discover a secret laboratory. After you have defeated the ghosts, you must turn the valve to the red area. Then lightning will strike the armor and the Boo will appear.
E-2 Double dilemma: At the end of the mission, among other things, you have to suck up a Boo in the courtyard – so you can't miss it.
E-3 Where is my train?: In the study (E1) you have to grab a balloon plant on the right and use it to go to the knight exhibition (ground floor) using the portals. Fly up there and glide into the northeast corner. Here you will find a golden balloon plant. Suck it up and then quickly collect the coins that appear. If you manage to do this, you will be rewarded with a chest containing the Boo Boo.
E-4 Track rumble: This mission is a boss fight against Maxi-Buu. You will therefore automatically collect 10 Boo Boos when you defeat the boss.
E-5 Luigi vs. everyone: Go to the Aviation Exhibition and reveal the invisible hot air balloon in the middle of the room to find the last Boo.
