Tonight from Monday to Tuesday, the latest edition of Capcom's digital showcase Capcom used the event to give us a first gameplay trailer and release date to “Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster”.

Another title that Capcom presented to us at the showcase is the unusual adventure “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess”During the presentation, the publisher pulled a little surprise out of its sleeve. As Capcom announced, a free demo is now available for download.

Tactical battles in real time
Capcom describes “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” as a “unique, Japanese-inspired single-player Kagura action-strategy game.” You find yourself on a legendary mountain that has been affected by a desecration by a dark force.
One of the game’s special features is the day and night rhythm.

During the day, in “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess,” you set about cleaning the desecrated villages. At the same time, you recruit allies to help you in battle. When night falls, you are confronted with dangerous enemies who are hunting the holy maiden and want to stop you from cleaning the desecrated villages.
The battles offer a mix of strategy, real-time action and tower defense elements.
Collaboration with Okami announced
To encourage users to play the demo, Capcom announced a collaboration with the popular “Okami” brand. This will pave the way for various content based on “Okami” in “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess”, including costumes, weapons and music.
If the demo is played often enough, Capcom plans to offer the “Okami” content for free after the release of “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess”.
“Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” will be released on July 19, 2024 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
