If you have played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you probably know what the Korugu. Small woodland creatures prone toDeku Treethey are hidden all over the world of Hyrule and offer you a Korugu nuts every time you flush them out. If there is no real point in finding them all, they are mainly used to support your exploration and allow you toimprove the size of your inventory up to a certain limit.

But to do this, you must first learn to spot them. Because as we just said, the Korogu are real tricksters and prefer to hide than to show themselves to everyone. To find them, you will therefore have to pay attention to anything that seems a little strange to you during your exploration. If you see a stone circle where a pebble is missing to form the circle, for example, there’s a good chance you’ll find a Korogu when you bring in the last stone. To help you keep an eye out, here is a list of some recurring elements that hide Korog:

  • A Korogu with a big backpack
  • An incomplete stone circle
  • Statues for offerings
  • A big dandelion
  • A geometric shape to reform with Emprise
  • A cork hanging from a tree stump
  • A pot hanging on a chain

Once you have found a few Korog, you will quickly learn to recognize all these little features that hide others. Please note that the list above is not at all exhaustive and that there are other hiding places for these little dungeons.

Each time you find a Korogu, it will reward you with a Korugu nuts. If you can of course have fun accumulating them all, they won’t be of much use to you before you meet Noia. This character is none other than an animated tree who likes to play maracas and who uses Korogu nuts to make his musical instruments resonate.

To find it, you will first have to go to the side of the New Delass Relay. From there, head northwest towards the Tour of Mount Labulat. Halfway you should encounter Noia quite easily. Talk to him so he can give you the quest. Noia’s troubles and accomplish the latter to finally be able to entrust him with your Korugu nuts.

From now on, you can give a certain number of your nuts to Noia so that he can increase the size of one of your three inventory compartments (weapons, bows and shields). Note that the more you try to increase one of these compartments, the more Noia will ask you for nuts to do so.

After finding Noia a first time between the Nouveau Relais de Delass and the Tour du Mont Labulat, the latter will leave to take refuge in the Watch fort. When you want to expand your inventory, all you have to do is return to this area to entrust your nuts to Noia. Be careful, the latter will move again from a certain point in your adventure. When you have managed to reach the heart of the Korogu Forest and have completed the quest item found there, Noia will indeed find her home and you will be able to find her alongside the Deku Tree until the end of Game.
