Last night, two giants met on Twitch: Streaming star Kai Cenat welcomed MrBeast, the world's biggest YouTuber. But the eagerly awaited stream, which was watched by over 300,000 people at the same time, ended with a spectacular finale in which an entire apartment was engulfed in flames.

Streamers blow up apartment with fireworks

The meeting between the two internet stars began quite normally: They talked, tasted MrBeast's new chocolate brand Feastibles – and by the way, the two gave away $250,000 to the audience.

But already during the stream, a huge collection of fireworks could be seen in the background, which Cenat had prepared for the upcoming Independence Day on July 4th. This American holiday is traditionally celebrated with lots of rockets, firecrackers and other fireworks.

Cenat was well prepared for Independence Day, with over 100 fireworks stacked up in the background:

However, the mood changed when another content creator, ImDavisss, joined the group: The NBA2K YouTuber flirted with the idea of setting off one of the firecrackers. Cenat, of course, didn't find it funny at all.

A brief argument turned into a scuffle that ended with Davis actually lighting one of the fireworks. The streamers fled the room and with a loud bang, a chain reaction occurred in which all the fireworks went off at the same time.

The camera could only capture flames and smoke before the stream ended abruptly – but see for yourself:

Everything is just staged

Shortly afterwards, Cenat posted on X (formerly Twitter): I'm done with all this shit! – but by then some fans had already caught on to the streamers.

Because as it turns out, the incident was apparently just staged. Fans noticed that the room had been prepared for the explosions, with details suggesting a specially built set:

  • the streamer's worn-out chair was brand new.
  • Many decorative elements, such as the slot machines, were missing.
  • the columns in the room were arranged slightly differently.
  • a door looked different than usual.

The streamer has not yet officially debunked the fake. But the past has already shown that the most subscribed streamer on Twitch, who regularly hosts superstars such as musician Drake and actor Kevin Hart, spares no expense or effort for his content. You can find some of his positive and negative highlights in the link box above.
