Will there be another revelation?

In the fifth episode, The Acolyte revealed the mysterious “Master” to whom some Jedi fell victim. With two more episodes left at this point, there may be more revelations to come.

It is possible that a second villain will enter the scene. According to fans, this will specifically be Darth Tenebrous. He has never appeared in the series or films to date, but is an important character in Star Wars lore.

After all, Darth Tenebrous was the master of Darth Plagueis. And he, in turn, was the master of the later Emperor. Three clues from the sixth episode would at least suggest that Darth Tenebrous appears in The Acolyte.

These are the clues

Especially since showrunner Leslye Headland in a conversation with New Rock Stars mentioned that The Acolyte will feature two Sith, which brings us to the first clue. The relevant section in the linked YouTube video can be found at about minute 22:55. However, Headland does not mention a specific name, which again leaves room for speculation.

The second clue could be provided by the spaceship of Qimir (played by Manny Jacinto). This can be seen briefly in the background in the sixth episode. The design is reminiscent of Darth Maul's ship from the films. According to Star Wars lore, this ship was designed by Darth Tenebrous.

In addition, the trailer for the series shows a spaceship that has not yet appeared. It could be the ship of the second villain.

The third clue is the unknown planet on which parts of the plot continue in the sixth episode. A coastal landscape with rugged cliffs is shown. Based on information from the site Wookiepedia There is now speculation as to whether the planet is Bal'demnic. On this planet, Darth Trenebous is murdered from behind by his student Darth Plagueis.

In terms of timing, an appearance by Darth Tenebrous could be appropriate. After all, The Acolyte takes place around 100 years before the events involving Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. If he does appear, however, it will be exciting to see what relationship Qimir has with him.

There are still two episodes left for the first season. New episodes appear every Tuesday on Disney Plus. There are also new series in the Star Wars universe beyond The Acolyte. We have put an overview of the series and films planned for 2024 in the link box.
