How to Update AlmaLinux 8.9 and Rocky Linux 8.9 Distributions

New versions of distributions published AlmaLinux 8.9 And Rocky Linux 8.9, synchronized with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.9 distribution and containing all the changes proposed in this release. The 8.x releases continue to be maintained in parallel with the 9.x branch and are aimed at creating a free build of RHEL capable of taking the place of the classic CentOS 8, which was discontinued at the end of 2021, and not in 2029, as originally intended.
