How to get to the Abyssal Forest in Shadow of the Erdtree
Your path begins in the Shadow Keep. It is best to start from the Place of Mercy “Warehouse, Ground Floor”. Use the elevator behind you and walk out through the door you originally came through.

Knock out the enemy, cross the bridge and look to the left at the first set of stairs. Here you have to carefully drop down and then run to the right. Behind the small waterfall you climb down a ladder and now find yourself in a kind of catacombs.
Continue on your way and interact with the open coffin to trigger a cutscene. You will then land just before the Place of Mercy “Castle Watering Hole”. Now continue straight ahead and watch out for the Furnace Giant if you don't want to face him directly.
Now continue to the left of the waterfall on the cliffs, where the place of grace “Upper Klausner River” is also located. In between, you have to hop to the other side of the cliffs with the help of Stormwind. After a while, you will arrive at the place of grace “Lower Klausner River”.
The next passage requires skill: carefully let yourself fall down over the large gravestones and do the same again a few meters later so that you come out on a level with ghost gravestones.

Keep to the left and look for a door to enter the Darklight Catacombs. Go through it completely and you will end up outside again. However, a boss fight awaits you there, through which you will unlock the Place of Mercy “Abandoned Cemetery”. Now you just need to follow the path and after a short time you will end up in the Abyssal Forest.
The first place of grace in the area called “Forest Path” is located just a few meters behind the point where the name of the region is displayed. If you are looking for the place of the same name, “Abyssal Forest”: It is located a little further west.
