Capcom's next big title, “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess,” is about to launch. Shortly before the release, the publisher revealed how long the unusual adventure will last.
With “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” announced Last summer, Capcom announced a title with which the development team responsible wanted to break new ground both thematically and in terms of gameplay.

The Japanese company promises nothing less than an innovative combination of real-time action and strategic elements. “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” at a price of 50 euros, making it slightly cheaper than common triple-A titles.
But what does all this mean for the scope of the title? Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi asked this question in a recent interview and gave a rough estimate of the running time.
This is how long the campaign will keep you busy
Although it is sometimes difficult to give a specific number due to the different approaches of the players, the campaign of “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” should keep us busy for at least 20 hours.
However, the campaign is not over yet, as Hirabayashi explained.

The producer continues: “Playing through the story alone will take no less than 20 hours. Of course, there are also missions and challenges after completing the story. So I think the game volume is comparable to that of a full-price title.”

According to Capcom, this gives you a first impression of what “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” has to offer in terms of gameplay.
“You find yourself on a mountain afflicted by desecration. During the day, you cleanse the villages and prepare for sunset. At night, you protect the maiden from the hordes of the damned. Repeat the day and night cycle until you have freed the mountain from desecration and restored peace to the land,” according to the official description.
“Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” will be released on July 19, 2024 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
