In House of the Dragon, things are heading towards a storm. After the events of the first season, the parties surrounding Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) and her half-brother Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney) are more irreconcilable than ever.
With royal blood already shed on both sides, open war seems inevitable. Both Rhaenyra and her Black Council and the Green Council around Aegon's mother Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) gather their vassals.
So it's high time to ask you which side you would support in the conflict for the Targaryen crown. We have set up a small community survey in which we ask you to take part diligently:

Who are the parties to the conflict?
Would you like a little recap? After the death of King Viserys (Paddy Considine), the court is divided: On one side is his eldest daughter Rhaenyra. During his lifetime, Vierys had chosen her as his successor on the Iron Throne and had all his vassals swear an oath of loyalty to her.
According to the Targaryens’ banner colors, their supporters call themselves the Blacks.
Opposed to her is the party around Rhaenyra's younger half-brother Viserys. He was hoisted onto the throne by his grandfather Ser Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) in order to protect his family's influence at court. This is justified by an alleged change in the line of succession in Viserys' last hours of life.
In keeping with the Hightower house colors, this faction calls itself the Greens.

After a coup by the Greens, Raenyra believes she is safe on Dragonstone, her family's ancestral home. But disaster strikes her there too: while out riding, her youngest son Lucerys (Elliot Grihault) is killed by a Green dragon.
Rhaenyra's brother Daemon (Matt Smith) therefore decides on his own to have the responsible dragon rider Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) murdered. But instead, Jaehaerys, the underage son of King Aegon, falls under the killer's knife.

The consequences: With the death of Jaehaerys, both sides have shed royal blood. The fronts are more entrenched than ever. Both King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra's advisors no longer see the point in negotiations and want to go to war. The dance of the dragons can begin.
