How to play XCOM 2
The gameplay of XCOM 2 is divided into two different areas. With your flying headquarters you can move from A to B on the large world map to collect resources, which you can then spend to produce new equipment, recruit soldiers or research new weapons. This is where it all comes down to good resource management and the right priorities The aliens are not idle during this time and are trying to push forward a secret research project.
At regular intervals you will be called out on missions to rescue civilians, evacuate a VIP or simply destroy the bases of the alien threat. Before landing you choose which soldiers you want to take with you – these can different classes and therefore different skills The more missions your troops complete, the more experience they gain. When you rise in rank, you can unlock additional skills. If you want, you can even give your soldiers their own names and customize their appearance.
However, it is all the more annoying when one of your comrades or, in the worst case, even your entire squad dies during a mission. That is why it is important that you turn-based battles Always be careful with the aliens, play to your strengths and give the scoundrels little room to attack. Even soldiers with top equipment can fall to the ground after just a few hits.
