The big expansion for Elden Ring is not making all players happy. The level of difficulty in particular is at the center of discussions surrounding Shadow of the Erdtree. Now FromSoftware is also taking action with a first balance patch.
FromSoftware makes Elden Ring a little easier
Elden Ring is a difficult game and that is a good thing. For some fans, FromSoftware has gone all the way with Shadow of the Erdtree but a bit over the topAs a result, the RPG is bombarded with negative Steam reviews and heated discussions arise about the design of the boss enemies.

Now FromSoftware is also getting involved. In a first Balance update The first half of the expansion in particular will be somewhat toned down. The patch notes state:
Attack and defense values for the first half of the maximum number of blessing upgrades are increased and for the second half they increase more evenlyAttack and defense values granted by the last level of blessing upgrades have been slightly increased
Blessing improvements refer to the Scadu Tree fragments that are scattered throughout the open world of Shadow of the Erdtree and that you can collect at places of grace in Bonuses for your character Since high-level Tainted hardly get any stronger through level ups, it is mainly these fragments that improve your chances in a tricky boss fight. Despite the first balance patch Elden Ring remains a challengeHowever, the early bosses should now fall a little faster so that you can collect more Scadu Tree Fragments afterwards.

Elden Ring: Players rely on mods
Some fans apparently did not want to wait for FromSoftware and are therefore became active. There are many fan creations available on the modding website Nexus Mods that make Elden Ring significantly easier.
