Yura, Bloody Finger Hunter, is one of the NPCs in Elden Ring. You can complete a multi-part quest series with Yura, which will reward you with his katana “Nagakiba”, his Ronin armor set and Eleonora's polearm, among other things. You can read how to solve the Yura quest and get his items here.

Yura at the ruins on the coast

The first time you can meet Yura is in Limgrave near the Place of Grace “Ruins on the Coast”. He is standing right by the campfire under the ruins. If you talk to him, he will warn you about Lake Agheel and the dragon there.
If you kill the dragon despite the warning, he will congratulate you when you speak to him again and let go of the Church of the Dragon Communion report where you can hand in the captured dragon heart.
A notice: For Yura's quest, it is irrelevant whether you speak to him at the ruins or kill the dragon. You can skip these first encounters with him completely. It only becomes important in the next step.

Yura at the Murky River Cave

Follow the river north in Lake Agheel and you will turn left to the Entrance to the Turbid River Cave At this point the Bloody Fingers of Nerijus invade your world. He will come running from the north. But you should run a little towards the south, because shortly after Nerijus Rush to Yura's aid in your world.
With Yura's help, you can easily defeat Nerijus and receive the dagger “Reduvia” as loot. Then ride further upstream to a dark area under a collapsed ruin. Here you will meet Yura again, who will tell you about his Hunt for the Bloody Fingers reported. Listen to all dialogues with him until they repeat to complete this quest step.
More important A notice: If Yura dies in the fight against Nerijus, the quest ends at this point and you have no way of continuing it. You would then have to create a new save game.
Yura in front of the main gate of the Raya Lucaria Academy

After you have found and used the Shimmerstone Key, you will arrive at the main gate of the academy. If you follow the path north over the destroyed bridge, you can find a red call symbol Use it to help Yura in his world.
Here you have to Assassins of Raven's Nest together with Yura. As a reward, you will receive the war ash “Nebelraptor” when you return. Yura is now also standing on the side of the bridge. Speak to him to receive a forge stone 5 as a thank you.
Exhausted all dialogues with him again to Eleonora to find out which seems to be the worst of all Bloody Fingers. Then you will have successfully completed this step too.
A notice: Unlike the first fight against Nerijus, you or Yura can die as many times as you want in this fight and try again until you succeed. This does not cancel the quest.
Yura in the second church of Marika

You meet Yura lying on the ground one last time in the second church of Marika on the Altus Plateau Apparently he lost the fight against Eleonora and died before your eyes. You can then loot the katana “Nagakiba” from his corpse.
But be careful, because in the next moment Eleonora (Purple Bloody Finger) will invade your world. Defeat her to receive the double blade “Eleonora’s Polearm”, the Purifying Crystal Tear and Crooked finger medicine to obtain.
Meet Shabriri in Yura's body

After the Great Elevation of Rold near the ruins of Zamor At the mountain peak of the giants you can meet Shabriri in Yura's body. In a long conversation he tries to convince you of the path of the raging flame.
You can then attack and kill him if you want. As a reward, you can the complete Ronin set from him. Alternatively, return to his location after you have received the Raging Flame from the Three Fingers under Leyndell. Then he will be gone and you will also find the Ronin Set in his place.
Killing Yura: What does he drop?
If you choose to kill Yura at any point in the quest, you will be rewarded 1000 Runes and be Katana “Nagakiba” This way you can get his katana sooner if you don't want to wait.
By the way: If you don't complete any of the steps of Yura's quest before meeting Shabriri in his body at the Ruins of Zamor, you can still get most of the rewards from the quest. Eleonora will invade you at the Second Church of Marika even without Yura. You can then find the Nagakiba at one of Yura's previous locations. Either at the ruins on the coast, north of Murky River Cave, or on the edge of the bridge near the main gate to the Academy.
