Exciting News for Fans: A New Set from a Popular Franchise Has Been Leaked

LEGO will obviously not be long in bringing a very special set back to the forefront in a new version that will be good for the wallet.

LEGO is used to doing collaborations with a whole bunch of big franchises. But hey, we don’t teach you anything. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, Sonic or even Marvel, you have something to do. This is even more true for Star Wars aficionados. The latter often have quite impressive sets to get their teeth into. However, it is not always given. So, we have just learned that a big promotion will soon take place, and it concerns a new item.

LEGO will delight Star Wars fans

First of all, it is important to understand that this information is not official. This is a leak that comes to us from user Falconbricks. For those who follow LEGO news, this name will not be unknown to you. In any case, he didn’t tell us about the existence of a new set ready to amaze us. This time, it is aimed at people who don’t necessarily want to spend money on their credit card (or at least, who don’t want to spend huge sums on the brand). Are you concerned? Well, we have good news for you.

According to Falconbricks, there will be a special promotion on May 1, as part of the famous “May the 4th Be With You”. It will concern a new version of a set which has already been released, the LEGO Star Wars number 75086. A brief glance at the latter allows you to easily identify it, and you will surely like it. This is a device used by battle droids. You can admire it below, but that’s not all. Here, we find 6 to 8 mini-figures in the colors of these famous droids. Strange, because 75086 is supposed to include more.

In fact, the original set appears to be currently out of stock on a number of sites, including LEGO’s. That’s how successful it was. And contrary to what one might think, he is not quite “back”. The set the leaker tells us about is not really the same, and it even has another number, 40686. Normally, it is supposed to include 565 pieces, but here, we only mention 262 for a reduced number of mini-figures. It is therefore possible that we are dealing with a more modest version of the set.

New sets on the way

The wait may seem a little long before May 2024. If this is the case, rest assured, LEGO has thought of everything. From March 1st, you will be able to find several new sets from the Star Wars license. First we have number 75387, which will let you reconstruct the cult scene from Star Wars IV: A New Hope where Darth Vader boards the Tantive IV. But we also have number 75379, with a reduced scale R2-D2, going from 2314 pieces to 1050 bricks. As you can see, it’s Christmas early, but it’s not over yet.

Are you more into spaceships? In that case, rejoice, because a new range is coming. It will include three: the Millennium Falcon (75375), the Tantive IV (75376) and The Invisible Hand (75377). Once again, we are dealing with new versions of these sets, in the sense that they are lighter models. In addition to the practical side, it especially allows you to save money, because they are less expensive. Are you going to checkout on the big day?
