Honkai Star Rail, Mihoyo's very famous turn-based gacha, continues to surprise fans. While version 2.3 has just been released, several information on future updates of the game have leaked.

If there's one thing that gacha fans pay attention to, it's obviously leaks. Games in the genre are constantly updated, and Honkai: Star Rail is no exception. Recently, fans of the turn-based gacha were treated to various announcements concerning the future update 2.4, even though the Mihoyo title has just welcomed two new characters as part of 2.3. But, via a post on Reddit, information about another future update, 2.5, has leaked.
We can see the names of three characters – Lingsha, Feixiao and Moze – from update 2.5 (planned in several months), as well as that of Tingyun, already present in the game. This four-star buffer is mentioned in this post and should have a new form. No information regarding the nature of this form in this leak. It’s about the character design of the character.

But then, why do the developers make the decision to rework an already released character? First of all, you should know that this has already been done for other major protagonists of the series, such as the Pioneer or Dan Heng. This change in form is actually a path change for the character, changing the way they should be played.
Finally, Tingyun is a character that we had already seen in the Luofu of Xianzhou story arc before disappearing for various reasons. Given that the future characters in the game all come from the Luofu faction of Xianzhou, we imagine that the crew of the Astral Express could return there, nothing official therefore. But it would be a good reason for Mihoyo to bring back the only character in the story who disappeared.
