You will meet Rellana in Ensis Castlemore precisely at the place of grace “Chamber of the Lord of the Castle”From here you only have to walk a short distance and you will find yourself in front of the golden shimmering passage to her arena. It is one of the first Story bosses in the DLC and you must defeat them if you want to successfully complete the story.

Magic and fire whirl through the arena

Just like with some other bosses, you will notice small golden objects before entering the arena. If you interact with these, you can NPC Warrior for support. Your helpers include the Knight Ledawhich also has its own quest series in the expansion. You can also summon one of your spirit ashes.

However, summoning your helpers in “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree” does not only have advantages. The more summons you perform, the more life energy receive the boss enemies you encounter in the Realm of Shadows. So you should think carefully about whether you really want to get one or even several helpers on your side.

But now we finally come to the boss fight itself: Rellana, Twin Moon Knight moves gracefully through the arena, almost as if she were dancing. In the first phase of the fight she will Use magicfor example to use projectiles or to strengthen one of their own swords. While the small magical projectiles are not too much of a challenge, their Strengthen sword blows with magic be quite annoying.

In the first phase, you should try to stay as close as possible to the “Shadow of the Erdtree” boss and avoid her sword blows as best as you can. If you put enough pressure on her and her attitude breaksyou can inflict a lot of damage on the knight with a strong blow. However, since she sometimes uses very long combos in which she strings together up to seven blows, it may take a while until you get used to her attacks.

The real fight, however, only begins with the second phase! As soon as you have drained Rellana, Twin Moon Knight of about half of her life energy, she will reveal her second sword strengthen with fire magic. Her attacks are now twice as dangerous! Her fire attacks in particular have an enormous range and cause massive damage.

What further complicates things is that the boss now attacks even more aggressively and hardly leaves you any room to breathe. It is a dance on the razor's edge, where every mistake can mean the end for you. As in the fight against the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, we recommend that you Bleeding damage With this we were able to cause a lot of damage to the boss enemy.

But why is this “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree” boss actually called the “Twin Moon Knight”? It can happen that she spirals into the air and then two moons appear to her. Both will hit the ground one after the other and a shock wave through the arena. Then Rellana himself rushes down, whereupon another shockwave comes. You can jump over this with the right timing.
