Echoes of Wisdom announced with Zelda as main heroine and a new collector's Switch Lite

The Legend of Link

Decades of reminding the general public that in Zelda, we don't play Zelda, reduced to nothing. In a trailer where we first see Link tackling a boss to save the princess, he finally finds himself sucked into a sort of dimensional rift. Zelda finds herself freed in a final effort by our hero and will now aim to find him and save Hyrule from these mysterious faults.

For this new opus, and after having shaken up the codes of Zelda 3D with Breath of the Wild And Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo intends to transform its formula from a top view. By featuring Zelda as the protagonist, of course, but also by offering gameplay that gives us the impression that the fate of Hyrule is no longer in the same hands.

Exit the sword, Zelda will use the scepter of Tri, provided to her by the fairy of the same name, to be able to save her kingdom. By learning the echo of an object, like a table, a crate, or more specific things like water cubes. The princess can then reproduce them at will to overcome obstacles, solve puzzles, or even fight.

Indeed, Zelda is also able to create monster echoes. In this way, they can help the princess during battles, and since each type of enemy has its own skills, some will be more appropriate than others depending on the moment.

With such a gameplay core, it is therefore quite easy to imagine the great potential for possibilities to resolve all types of situations, providing a certain continuity to the freedom of gameplay sought by Nintendo for its license for several years now.

The title therefore promises yet another breath of fresh air for the saga, and to keep a familiar feeling while going through the adventure, the title adopts the very cute artistic direction that the Switch remake of Link's Awakening had put in place.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will arrive on September 26, 2024 on Nintendo Switch, which will also welcome a new color.

A new Switch Lite for the occasion

Why not take advantage of a new Zelda to release a new Switch in the colors of the legendary Nintendo saga? Well, that’s precisely what’s going to happen with the Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition. The console will be gold in color, will have the Hyrule emblem engraved on its back, and a small Triforce icon under the right joystick.

The console does not come alone since it will include a one-year subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack, enough to take advantage of all the retro Zeldas that the catalog offers.

The Nintendo Switch Lite Edition Hyrule will be released alongside the game, also on September 26, 2024.
