The next update for the action role-playing game “Dragon's Dogma 2” is now available for download on all platforms. A look at the official changelog reveals the detailed improvements offered.

On the official website Capcom officials confirmed that a new update to the action role-playing game is now available on all platforms “Dragon’s Dogma 2” is available for download.

The most important new features include adjustments to the graphics options. This allows you to choose between “High” and “Low” for the graphics settings. Optional 120Hz support can also be activated from now on. Another change concerns the photo mode.

After installing the latest update, you can hide the vassals when taking screenshots and creating your own images. The following overview tells you what other new features “Dragon's Dogma 2” will get with the new update.

  • Added ability to sell items from the inventory menu.
  • Added ability to equip armor from the camp menu.
  • Added the ability to equip armor from storage when changing professions in a professional guild.
  • Maximum number of items of one type that can be stored increased from 99 to 999.
  • Adjustment so that if an item is stored beyond the maximum limit, the maximum number of items will automatically be stored.
  • Adjustments to make ox carts easier to find in the field.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Venator’s Leggings, Ring of Predominance, and Comforting Neck Wrap to be unobtainable.
  • Fixed issues that resulted in players being able to enter areas they are not allowed to enter.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Vermund gem purchase prices to be incorrect in some shops.
  • Fixed an issue where the Oracle's Guide did not take into account the death of a required character.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some collectibles to not regenerate until the next playthrough.
  • Fixed an issue that caused incorrect NPC portraits to be displayed.
  • Fixed issues with opening the door in the Ancestral Chamber.
  • Fixed an issue with hair display on characters at maximum size.
  • Fixed issues related to CPU overload in certain situations.
  • Various bug fixes.


“Dragon's Dogma 2” was released in March 2024 for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. A few weeks ago, Capcom confirmed that the sequel was a commercial success. The action role-playing game made it to sales of to more than three million players.
