The complete Erdrick trilogy is being remade

This means that the entire Erdrick trilogy is returning in the form of a remake. The fact that “Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake” is starting in November makes sense when you look at the story.

“Dragon Quest 3” takes place chronologically before the first two spin-offs of the popular role-playing series and thus lays the foundation for the events of the first two parts. Square Enix has not yet given a concrete release date for “Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake”.

Instead, the Japanese publisher only talks about a planned release next year.
