Warzone 2: How to turn off crossplay in Call of Duty
What platforms is crossplay available on? On everyone on which the game is also available – i.e. on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and on PC.You can approach the multiplayer of MW2 and the action in Warzone 2 or DMZ together cross-platform.You can also turn off the function.
Crossplay CANNOT be disabled on these platforms: Bad news for PC and Xbox.In short: If you are on these platforms, you cannot switch off crossplay.So it’s always active there.Crossplay can therefore only be deactivated on the PlayStation consoles.
How to disable crossplay on PS4 and PS5: If you want to disable crossplay on your PS4 or PS5, just follow these IN-GAME steps:

- From the CoD: Modern Warfare 2 main menu, navigate to Settings
- From there, click on the “Account and Network” tab (at the bottom)
- There you can see the settings “Crossplay” and “Crossplay communication”
- Sets both settings to “off”
That was it.Now the feature is disabled.However, please note: With crossplay switched off, matchmaking can take longer – especially in more “exotic” modes.If you change your mind and want to re-enable crossplay, follow the steps above and set both options back to “on” accordingly.
