Currently, Game of Thrones is on everyone’s lips again. The universe of George R.R. Martin is not in the spotlight through a continuation of his story, but through a prequel. In Germany, for example, the second season of the GoT series House of the Dragon.
We are currently reporting week after week on the new episodes of the project. But not only the HBO series, a third season or statements from the cast end up in the headlines. Martin recently catapulted himself into this very same category. However, this is not based on the GoT universe, but on another fantasy universe.

George RR Martin worked on game hit
On February 25, 2022, Elden Ring one of the most important titles of the last few years. The Soulslike was a hit worldwide on the PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and Xbox One. It is not surprising that the much-heralded DLC Shadow of the Erdtree these days dominated the Steam charts with.
George RR Martin was involved in the lore of the title. The author recently mentioned the game in a blog post, but the DLC was not the main focus. Instead, it seems as if Martin hinted at an upcoming project surrounding the From Software title.

“Oh, and as for those rumors about an Elden Ring movie or TV series that you may have heard about… I have nothing to say“, said the 75-year-old. He knew nothing, really nothing, you hadn't officially heard anything from him, as he repeatedly stresses in the post. And yet the self-ironic author is of course fuelling the rumors surrounding such a project.
