It's been a few years now since players got involved in the world of Vampire Survivors… but in any case, not at PlayStation. However, we have some news about the planned porting.

For the vampire and for the best
Vampires and video games are a love story that lasts and continues to offer fun stories and concepts. We can obviously cite Castelvania, the entire Vampire: The Masquerade saga, the cult Legacy of Kain, the V Rising phenomenon or even Dontnod's RPG Vampyr. There are a lot of truly memorable titles in the theme.
We can also mention Vampire Survivors, an independent software developed by Luca Galante (a single developer, yes) who quickly seduced the Steam audience with its concept halfway between roguelike and incremental. Rewarded for the ingenuity of its game design and even winning the prize for best game at the BAFTA Games Awards. Just that!
A portage that survives
Offered in early access on PC and Mac in 2021, the game will be released in its final version on October 20, 2022. A few days later, in November, the Xbox One and Xbox Series will welcome Vampire Survivors. Then finally come the Android and iOS platforms, in December of the same year. And yes, indeed, the PlayStation is still missing from the equation.
In fact, a PS5 and PS4 port was already announced a while ago and today, as players are starting to get impatient, the official X account of the game allows itself a small update:
We still don't have a release date to share, but we wanted to let you know why. This is the first time we're going through the validation process on PlayStation, so it's taking a little longer than usual
We are also testing trophies to ensure they can be unlocked correctly. .
BUT we will let you know as soon as possible a release date, as soon as it is set!
this is the first time we're going through submission processes on PlayStation so it's taking a little longer than usual
we're also doing some trial and error on Trophies to ensure we get them right
BUT we'll let you know ASAP when we have a solid date!

No worries, then: Vampire Survivors should soon arrive on PlayStation and the port even seems more or less finished. Incidentally, let's remember that a DLC in collaboration with the Contra saga was released very recently, in May.
