Devastating News for Xbox Fans: Beloved Racing Game Pulled from Stores Permanently

Xbox has racing fans in disbelief: The popular game Forza Horizon 4 will disappear from all digital stores this year. So you have to grab the game beforehand – otherwise you've missed your chance.

Shock for all racing fans: The celebrated lead-foot highlight Forza Horizon 4 is approaching its final stages six years after its release. Due to expiring licenses, Xbox Game Studios will remove the game from digital stores this year – this includes Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Forza Horizon 4: Racing hit on the verge of extinction

Forza Horizon 4 took the hearts of the gaming community by storm – on Metacritic, the racing game with over 450 vehicles has a Critics rating of 92 and a player rating of 8.3On Steam, it has a very positive rating after more than 200,000 votes.

If you haven't bought Forza Horizon 4 yet, your time is running out. While the DLCs have already been taken off sale, the game will will disappear completely from stores on December 15, 2024The development team has now announced that the game will be reduced in price several times by then – currently you can get it on Steam for only 13.99 euros instead of 69.99 euros until July 11, 2024 (view on Steam).

Inglorious end of Xbox hit raises questions

It is unclear which licensing issues led to Microsoft having to withdraw Forza Horizon 4 from sale. But there is also good news: If you still get the game in either its digital or physical form, you will still be able to access it after December 15, 2024 – both offline and online mode.
