Despite a 50/100 rating, this Dragon Ball video game continues to receive major updates before the release of Sparking Zero

A game with average reception, but which still receives updates

Unless you're a particularly hardcore Dragon Ball fan, you may have never heard of Dragon Ball: The Breakers. Indeed, where players are generally used to being able to try access titles on duel combat, Bandai Namco had tried to be a little more original with this title released in October 2022. By mixing action and survival, this video game asked the player to choose between the side of the attackers or the survivors and to compete in multiplayer to achieve victory. Unfortunately, if the concept could be tempting, Dragon Ball: The Breakers was not really unanimous, far from it. With an average of 53/100 on Metacritic, it is one of the lowest rated games in the license, and it quickly fell into oblivion. Yet, it has just received a major update.

If you are one of the players who continues to play Dragon Ball: The Breakers, good news! Season 6 is finally here, and with it several interesting new features. Among them, we especially note the arrival of Baby, a “character” from Dragon Ball GT. Designed as a Mutant Machine created by the Tsufuls (a people enemy of the Saiyans), this little parasite can infiltrate the bodies of others, and that is precisely what you will be able to do by playing it in Dragon Ball: The Breakers.

Interesting new features

You would have understood it, Baby of course represents a new character for the villain camp of Dragon Ball: The Breakers. By playing him, you will start your game as an ordinary citizen, like the other players. You will then have to approach others to be able to contaminate them, and thus make the infection grow. After a certain time, you will be able to take over Vegeta's body and finally go on the attack. Baby will however be able to continue to infect the rest of the players to evolve, which should allow you to reach the overpowered form of Golden Giant Gorilla in addition to locking your opponents' skills.

If you are more the type to play as survivors, know that you will also be able to enjoy some new features. We especially think of the arrival of Son Goku in his Super Saiyan 3 form, which you can unlock through the game shop. By playing it, you will be able to take advantage of the Dragon's Fist to move quickly on the field.
